Startup Boost Weekend is a grassroots event, organized by RAU and EPIC AUA. This is a unique opportunity for students with different skillsets – software developers, designers, entrepreneurs, marketers, product managers, startup enthusiasts and many others come together to team up and build new startups in just 54 hours!

Registration is open until March 15, 6pm and selection will be done based on “first come-first serve” principle, so ...

About Event 
This free three-day event encourages a fun and engaging environment for changemaker students of all backgrounds. It’s for students who use their unique perspective, passion knowledge, and abilities to bring about change in their communities through entrepreneurship. Startup Boost Weekend creates a platform for students to gain insight and relevant, real-time experience for building and growing a startup while expanding their networks, portfolios, and resumes. Weekend activities include rapid-fire startup pitches, team formation, customer development, prototype building, UI/UX design, business model generation, mentor feedback from experts, and conclude with a Shark Tank-style pitching session. Prizes will be designed to add value to the winning startup teams! 

Current Prizes:
1st Place Team
Will be accepted to EPIC Startup Incubator.
Will have an opportunity to present their startup idea at the upcoming Sevan Startup Summit.
Will receive a bundle of mind blowing books.
Will receive a cheque for $600.
2nd Place Team
Will receive a bundle of mind blowing books. 
Will receive a cheque for $400.
3rd Place Team
Will receive a bundle of mind blowing books.


 
If selected, please come to the event with your student ID cards, as the event is designed only for RAU and AUA students. 
A small computer auditorium will be available during the event, however you are strongly encouraged to participate with your own laptops.
