Previous congresses were both essentially substantial (including training, workshops, and information and analysis workshops) and administrative (coordination meetings and discussions on Project Management). Among the Armenian partners, in addition to the Russian-Armenian University, also involved in the project, are the American University of Armenia and the Armenian State University of Economics. Project is lead by Narxoz University (Kazakhstan) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
The main target-group of trainings and seminars are employees of structural units responsible for the management of human resources (personnel departments, personnel management departments), as well as departments for quality assurance and strategic planning activities of the partner universities.
The purpose of the meeting held in Stockholm was to familiarize the participating partners with KTH current human resource management system, the functioning of the terms of HR-department, regulatory HR-management of KTH and legislative and legal fields in Sweden in the matters of human resources management in educational institutions. Among the main applications of the Congress objectives are: analysis and discussion of the developed partner universities package of regulatory documents (concept, strategy) in the field of human resources management, provision of the comments and suggestions for the improvement of these documents, as well as the presentation of the monitoring mechanisms of implemented planning tools as an important indicator of quality of the university.
It should be noted that Tempus-PEOPLE is a program of the European Union to support the modernization of higher education systems in the partner countries of the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.
