RAU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the AUA
On September 6, Rector of Russian-Armenian University Dr. Armen Darbinian and President of the American University of Armenia Dr. Armen Der Kiureghian signed a memorandum on bilateral cooperation (Memorandum of Understanding - MoU). AUA President and Rector of RAU set a new vector of academic collaboration, emphasizing the similarity of educational and research interests of both universities.
The Memorandum regulates such issues as implementation of joint research projects (in particular, in the spheres of business, high technology, regenerative energy, ecotourism, legal studies), providing students with free access to library systems of both universities, exploitation of objects of sports infrastructure and laboratories, exchange of experience and implementation of innovative approaches and technologies in the educational process and scientific-educational system of Armenia in general, as well as ensuring high mobility of RAU and AUA students within Erasmus+ Program.
In addition, the document provides a unique opportunity for students of AUA enrolled in TEFL program: internship or a full English language teaching in the Russian-Armenian University's school "Usmunk".
Also, according to the agreement, RAU students will be eligible to take classes at AUA as non-degree students, and AUA students will be eligible to do the same at RAU.
It should be noted that the memorandum comes into force from the date of signing and is valid for three years.
