RAU PROFESSOR VISITED BELARUS
Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Law, Mr. Arthur Gambaryan visited the National Centre of Legislation and Legal Research (NCLLR) of the Republic of Belarus. The purpose of the visit was as follows: the negotiations on a joint research project on the problems of rule-making in the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia.
The parties intend to participate in the contest of joint research, announced by the State Committee on Science of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research.
During the visit, Mr. Gambaryan met with the director of the National Centre of Legislation and Legal Research, Mr. Ipatov. The sides discussed prospects of scientific cooperation between RAU Department of Theory and History of State and Law and NCLLR and identified, in particular, the basic conceptual positions, target structure and objectives of the joint research.
Note that the problem of rule-making in the formation of the rule of law is one of the most acute issues in modern jurisprudence. This project aims at developing an integrated effective theoretical and applied models of standard-setting activities in the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Belarus, as well as the definition of the objectively existing opportunities and ways to improve procedural mechanisms and results of normative work through the system, doctrinal analysis, comparative legal research of legislation and practices of rulemaking in Armenia and Belarus.
