RAU Students Participating in a Simulation Game

The students of Russian-Armenian University participated in a simulation game on conflict resolution and negotiations that took place in Aghveran, Armenia on February 2-5. It was organized by the initiative of the Caucasus Institute.

Participants acted as policymakers and journalists and presented imaginary states embroiled in a long-term ethnopolitical conflict. They protected the national interests of states they represented and engaged in active negotiations to resolve the conflict.

Members of the organizing committee were positively surprised with students’ active participation. All participants of the three-day game were awarded with certificates, while those who had stood out received special prizes in the the following nominations: Best Negotiator, Best Leader, Best Player and Best Team.

The simulation game took place through the support of the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives.
