Ph.D. Student Grabski Winner of Falling Walls Lab Armenia
Hovakim Grabsky, Ph.D. student of Russian-Armenian University in Biology took part in the regional Falling Walls Lab event. As a result of the first round of the competition Hovakim won the first place with his research report "Breaking the Wall of Antibiotic-Resistant Pseudomonas Aeruginosa".
"It is a great honor for me to participate in the Falling Walls Lab - it opens up new prospects and opportunities for young scientists," highlighted Hovakim.
Falling Walls Lab was the first Falling Walls event in Armenia. The contest traditionally has two stages: the winners of the international Labs go on to participate in the finale in Berlin on November 8, 2017. There, 100 outstanding talents are offered the opportunity to present their innovative ideas, research projects and social initiatives.

The event is organized by the Falling Walls Foundation, a charitable venture initiated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. It supports interdisciplinary dialogue and international cooperation, connects aspiring innovators and senior researchers, develops new and sustainable ways of scientific communication.
