Physicists from RAU - A.N.S.E.F’s Grant Winners
Physicists from RAU have once again won the A.N.S.E.F's (The Armenian National Science & Education Fund) research grant. The research group was led by the head of the Institute of Mathematics and High Technology, Edward Khazaryan. The team included Davit Hayrapetyan (Associate Professor), Tigran Kostanjyan (Ph.D student), and Hovhaness Tevosyan (Ph.D).
They are going to conduct research on "Cylindrical Quantum Dot with Different Confining Potentials in the Presence of External Electrical and Magnetic Fields: Impurity States and Electrostatic Multipoles".
The target group of the American-Armenian organization is Armenian researchers below the age of 35.
The fund provides financial grants (totaling in $5000). It also organizes research trips abroad and covers travel expenses for young scientists.
