The Visby Programme

The Swedish Institute (SI) Visby Programme aims at building capacity in young professionals who have the ambition to play an active role in society and to contribute to a positive development in their home countries and region.

SI is interested in students and researchers who are creative and ambitious and at the same time show excellence in their academic fields. The drive and will to assist their country and contribute to development of multilateral co-operation is an important factor. All scholarship holders will be part of the fellowship Network for Future Global Leaders (NFGL) where young talents from all across the globe meet around issues such as global leadership for a sustainable future. All scholarships also include a life-long membership in the SI Alumni Network.
